The successful candidate will be a self-starter with strong analytical and communication skills. This is a remote position for candidates who are legally entitled to work in Canada.
Responsibilities
- Financial report and budget template development, writing dynamic reports, KPIs, and dashboards, including advanced SQL, data mining and data analysis
- Software development, testing and feedback
- Providing timely and professional support and troubleshooting via telephone, email, and remote control for new and existing customers and partners
- Performing installations, configurations, upgrades, conversions, server moves and more
- Assist with documentation and training materials to help orient customers and partners on the proper use of the Vivid Reports software
- Documentation of problems and resolutions for future reference
- Other IT duties and functions as assigned
Requirements
- Experience in writing complex T‐SQL code, SQL scripts, stored procedures, and functions
- Experience with Microsoft Management Studio, SQL Server 2008+ and Database design
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel®
- Able to perform data analysis and demonstrate how to organize, connect, and present information in highly efficient and meaningful ways
- Experience in programming using .Net (C#, VB.net)
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and concepts would be an asset
- Knowledge of, or experience with, advanced ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, Epicor, and SAGE is a plus
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
