Responsibilities will include:

  • Lead generating for our sales team
  • Cold calling/emailing
  • Qualifying cold leads
  • Understanding our client’s needs, and how our software fills them
  • Meticulous record keeping of all sales activity in our CRM system

Qualifications and Characteristics Required:

  • Enjoys being part of a driven goal orientated team
  • Hungry sales mentality
  • Strong, professional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • An understanding of expectations in a corporate environment
  • Completion of University degree or diploma
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Windows
  • Minimum 50 WPM typing speed
  • Basic understanding of accounting
  • Trustworthy and Dependable
  • Proven ability to perform under tight time lines in a fast paced environment
  • Strong social media skills (particularly utilizing LinkedIn) and Google Search skills

The successful candidate will foster strong relationships with customers and valued partners through ongoing communication and seamless support including:

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Introductory and advanced training & support to new and existing customers and valued partners
  • Financial report and budget template writing services to customers
  • Assistance in the creation of training programs, materials and instructional videos
  • Providing timely and professional support via telephone, email, remote control & sometimes in-person
  • Providing documentation, training and guidance, to orient clients on the proper use of the Vivid Reports software
  • Documentation of problems and resolutions for future reference
  • Working as a team member on other duties as assigned, which may include occasional travel to customer sites

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be presently located in Winnipeg, Manitoba
  • Demonstrated superior customer service skills with excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and listening)
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and concepts
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Quick thinker who is motivated to learn new things and excited to teach others
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field such as Finance, Accounting, or Computer Science

PREFERENCE GIVEN TO THOSE WITH

  • Accounting background with experience in financial reporting, budget and forecasting processes is preferred
  • Ability to write SQL / queries is a plus
  • Knowledge of, or, experience with advanced ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, Epicor and SAGE is a plus
  • Those that have Vivid Software experience.

Responsibilities

  • Financial report and budget template development, writing dynamic reports, KPIs, and dashboards, including advanced SQL, data mining and data analysis
  • Software development, testing and feedback
  • Providing timely and professional support and troubleshooting via telephone, email, and remote control for new and existing customers and partners
  • Performing installations, configurations, upgrades, conversions, server moves and more
  • Assist with documentation and training materials to help orient customers and partners on the proper use of the Vivid Reports software
  • Documentation of problems and resolutions for future reference
  • Other IT duties and functions as assigned

Requirements

  • Experience in writing complex T‐SQL code, SQL scripts, stored procedures, and functions
  • Experience with Microsoft Management Studio, SQL Server 2008+ and Database design
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Able to perform data analysis and demonstrate how to organize, connect, and present information in highly efficient and meaningful ways
  • Experience in programming using .Net (C#, VB.net)
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and concepts would be an asset
  • Knowledge of, or experience with, advanced ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, Epicor, and SAGE is a plus
