The successful candidate will foster strong relationships and earn the trust of our valued customers and business partners while achieving established sales results. This position is based in Winnipeg, Canada.

Responsibilities

Accounting/Office Admin

Vivid Reports is a leading innovator in Business Intelligence and Corporate Performance Management software solutions and we have an immediate opening for an energetic individual to perform various aspects of accounting and office administration. The successful candidate will be proficient with QBO, Office/Excel, Gmail, and touch typing. Excellent communication skills both written and spoken are essential. Confidentiality, attention to detail, and high accuracy are also very important to this role. You will be a quick learner, capable of multi-tasking and with excellent calendar and deadline management. Core functions are accounting (invoicing, payroll, entering receipts and payments, reconciliation of accounts, tax remittance, deposits, collections, etc.), office administration (process improvement, ordering equipment and supplies, documentation of procedures, scheduling). Additional functions to include executive assistance, order processing, record maintenance, and some sales / marketing communications and collateral development.

Requirements

  • Minimum of four (4) years related experience in office administration
  • Minimum of four (4) years related experience in accounting, preferably with QBO
  • College diploma or university degree in business, computer science, or accounting with GPA > 3.5
  • Creative thinking, process improvement, problem solver with ability to work independently
  • Excellent communicator (in English) both written (email) and verbal
  • Excellent time management and adherence to filing and project deadlines
  • Devoted to constant improvement in terms of personal knowledge and skills
  • Touch Typing @ 40+ wpm and proficient use of Office. This will be tested and demonstrates your technical aptitude

The successful candidate will be a self-starter with strong analytical and communication skills. This position is based in Winnipeg, Canada, and offers a competitive salary, room for advancement, and a flexible and fun work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Financial report and budget template development, writing dynamic reports, KPIs, and dashboards, including advanced SQL, data mining and data analysis
  • Software development, testing and feedback
  • Providing timely and professional support and troubleshooting via telephone, email, and remote control for new and existing customers and partners
  • Performing installations, configurations, upgrades, conversions, server moves and more
  • Assist with documentation and training materials to help orient customers and partners on the proper use of the Vivid Reports software
  • Documentation of problems and resolutions for future reference
  • Other IT duties and functions as assigned

Requirements

  • Experience in writing complex T‐SQL code, SQL scripts, stored procedures, and functions
  • Experience with Microsoft Management Studio, SQL Server 2008+ and Database design
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel®
  • Able to perform data analysis and demonstrate how to organize, connect, and present information in highly efficient and meaningful ways
  • Experience in programming using .Net (C#, VB.net)
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and concepts would be an asset
  • Knowledge of, or experience with, advanced ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, Epicor, and SAGE is a plus
